Quote Challenge 2/3

This is my second post for the quote challenge. You can read part one here.

This is a quote from “The Little Prince”.

I really like this quote because it is so simple, yet deep. In life, there are a lot of things that seem to be ordinary at first glance. Humans are everywhere. Cars. Animals. You get the point.

So what makes something special? Does it even matter if one of us were suddenly to disappear? Would anyone notice?

Yes. For those who have “established ties” with you, they would.

Establishing ties mean you have decided to invest in that person/thing. You will make time and put effort into your relationship.

Being tamed can make you feel well loved and cared for.

The more you put in, the harder it is to separate from it. 

At one point, it may become a part of you.

You become forever responsible for what you have tamed.
