Persistence

persistence

This is my first blog post! I would like to dedicate this post to my friend, Karen Mak! Karen is an active blogger who loves to share her experiences with the world. She inspires me daily and encourages me to do the same. Hence, I have decided to create this blog to share my experiences and growth with all of you. I hope you will enjoy reading my posts! 🙂

Today I would like to talk about persistence. My definition of persistence is:

Regardless of how many times I may fail, I’m not stopping until I reach my goal.

Persistence is a very powerful force. It can allow us to achieve things that seemed impossible at the beginning. However, in order to be persistent in something, we have to have a purpose. There has to be a strong WHY. Why are you doing what you’re doing? How badly do you want it? What are you willing to endure?

When you want something bad enough, you don’t give up.

I personally have a friend who lost over 100 pounds simply because he decided to do so. A lot of people ask him, “What is your secret? How did you do it?”

His response? “There is no secret. I just exercise.”

As long as you keep going, you will eventually see results.

I would like to conclude my post by ending with what Karen said to a friend. She said, “I create my own luck.” 5 words. So simple, yet so powerful. It really goes to show what type of person Karen is. She does not wait for things to happen. She takes action to make things happen. Her attitude and persistence will take her far in life. Thank you for being such an inspiration. I’m honoured to be your friend and partner. Let’s grow and retire together. 🙂

Practice every night on what you do and consistency will bring you success. Lastly, PERSIST. No matter what the circumstances are keep pushing, we are only a few inches away from reaching our goal! It’s a matter of how bad do YOU want it. I like to end this post with how happy I am to be working with you and have you as a partner 🙂 and I look forward to growing and retiring with you Grace!
