Gay Marriage

Originally, I was going to post this on Monday. But I can’t wait any longer because I am so mad at the amount of hate and ignorance I see from all over social media.

Yesterday, the Supreme Court in the U.S. ruled that same sex couples are now allowed to marry no matter where they live. This is something to celebrate about!! EQUAL RIGHTS.

However, there are still so many people all over the Internet who are hating and frustrated over this decision.

People should be able to love and marry whoever they want!!

Why should it matter to YOU who SOMEONE ELSE loves?!

It’s ridiculous.

I’m going to use a colour analogy to make this ignorance even more obvious.

A: We are all created to like Red.

B: But I like Yellow.

A: Liking Red is natural. Liking Yellow is unnatural.

B: I am attracted to Yellow though. I am not attracted to Red.

A: You ought to be ashamed of yourself. You are disgusting.

B: Why can’t I like Yellow?

A: I told you already. It’s wrong. It’s against my beliefs. We are created to like Red. Plus, if you show your attraction to Yellow, you are going to make other people like Yellow too.

B: I’m not making anyone do anything! You can like Red, while I like Yellow!!

A: No, it doesn’t work like that. If you insist on liking Yellow, we are going to take away your rights. You are not equal to us.

B: Liking Red would make my life so much easier. I can’t help it if I like Yellow. You think I choose to get hated on?

A: You shall be punished. We are going to do everything in our power so you cannot like Yellow.

Do you guys see how ridiculous this is? Just let people love and be who they want! I’m not telling you to turn Gay! Just accept that people have different preferences and not everyone is the same! STOP TRYING TO CONTROL OTHER PEOPLE’S LIVES AND WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN INSTEAD.

Also, if God loves everyone, He should love the LGBT community too.
