Daring to Fly

Cambodia

This week’s Monday post is about my Moo Moo. Haha. She has a blog now. You can check her out here.

In a few days, my Moo Moo will be flying to Cambodia to start a new chapter of her life!!! She is actually leaving her family, friends, and loved ones to open a school/learning centre for English learners in a country where she doesn’t speak the language.

So brave, eh?

Most people are in shock. Why would you do that? Wow, that’s so risky. You’re going to leave Canada? Damnnnnnn…

But it has always been a dream of hers to start her own business. She wants to run her own thing and be in charge; rather than work for someone else.

Honestly, I’m extremely proud of her. Many people dream, but few are willing to take the risk. It takes a lot of courage to go pursue your dreams when most people are doubting your chances of success.

Obviously, there are no guarantees in life (except death). There are no guarantees that her business will succeed. However, if she doesn’t go, she will never know.

How many of us have once dreamed?

When we were younger, we were filled with curiosity and anticipation. We couldn’t wait to grow up and do what we really want to do.

I wonder, how many of us actually wake up with anticipation now?

Anyhow, Moo Moo, if you ride an elephant. You better take pics and show me. It looks sooooo cool.

Another item for my bucket list: Ride on an elephant. LOL

Here’s a picture of us to end the post.

  1. gchan which one in the photo is u? Great topic. Risk is hard. Most people stay within comfort zone. That includes me. 😦 Maybe someday I’ll find something worth risking for.

    1. I’m the one in red. Thanks for reading my personal posts! ❤

Yeah, comfort zone is safe and comfortable. But if we wanna grow, we need to challenge ourselves.
